Dick Whittington

Its getting to that time of year again!

Rehearsals are now well underway for this seasons panto. Alice Brock takes the lead as Dick Whittington supported by a cast of familiar faces and characters. Another traditional pantomime full of laughs, music and a record number of junior chorus members.

As many of you realise, thanks to our success in obtaining funding through the Peoples Millions, work has been ongoing in Milborne St Andrews village hall. Installation of a digital sound and lighting system makes for exciting times for the Players. This production will make full use of these new facilities and improvements to give that extra dimension to what is always an enjoyable event.

The Players are also pleased to be working with local pianoman Sam Ryall who directs and plays for local shows, is director of music at three churches, plays in various function bands and teaches privately and in schools.

Not a good idea to leave buying tickets to the last minute. The tickets have already been printed and are available from Sid Coe (01258 837453 or email at melva.sid@btinternet.com) and will be released to the Londis Store in the New Year 2010

Get the dates on your Calendar 4th 5th and 6th February 2010 including as usual a Saturday afternoon Matinee

Don't be disappointed, book early, past productions have sold out weeks before the performance date.

This year we are pleased to announce that the Royal Oak public house, Dorchester Hill, Milborne St Andrew is sponsoring the pantomime.
