About the Milborne Players

  Who are we?

Milborne Players have been performing theatrical productions in the village of Milborne St Andrew, Dorset, for over 30 years. Formed in June 1977 by Venus Dodge the first production was the pantomime "Robin Hood". Although a small company we have presented a broad range of performances that have entertained well supported audiences over the past 30 years. Past productions have included pantomime, farce, serious drama, as well as music hall and revues all performed by an enthusiastic and willing cast of members. The "Photo Archive" gives a brief description of many performances along with photographs, programme and cast members.

We are committed to producing quality entertainment and whilst we stretch our talents and skills to the limit we also have a lot of fun. The Milborne Players have a great deal of enjoyment with their productions and also organise a number of recreational events each season including a Pie and Poem evening to assist with getting into the Christmas spirit. There is something good about being able to keep an audience coming back time and time again and we hope to continue doing so for many years to come.
