"Bless'em All" was
the second time the Players had presented a Music Hall production
and it turned out to be a hit with audiences. Under the direction
of Melva Coe rehearsal was completed in just 9 weeks. The imaginative
programme included sketches; "A Pharaoh Way to Go!" and "Gods
Waiting Room", monologues;
"I'm On Another Diet", "The Secret", "Deck of
Cards II" and "The Day
War Broke Out", as well as many well known songs including "Fall
in and Follow Me", "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree",
"Nightingale in Berkley Square", "Underneath the Arches", "Could
You Please Oblige Us with a Bren Gun", "The White Cliffs
of Dover" and of course, "Bless'em
All".
