Plots and Porn!

The Milborne Players have never been afraid to try something different and the next production is different! Its a double bill of plays for grown-ups remembering that it is Milborne and not Soho. "Work in Progress", written by Damian Trasler and directed by Melva Coe, tells the story of an author struggling to finish his Chandleresque detective novel. But his characters don't care for the plot and coming to life decide to mutiny, making the author try their roles on for size.

Bill Preston directs Colin Calverts "My Blue Heaven" in which Brian uses his redundancy money to fund a new business venture, good for him you say! However, what his wife, Melanie, doesn't know is that Brian's new wealth comes from an off-shoot of the photographic society. He is producing videos for what we could describe as a "specialist" market. When some friends come around for dinner later that day and spot Brian and Melinies holiday video they get more than they bargained for when they are left to view it.

Performances Friday 11th & Saturday 12th June starting at 7:45 pm. Tickets from Londis store or Sid Coe.
